DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Season 3 Rumor Teases a Bullseye vs. Elektra Showdown

One of the biggest surprises to come out of the latest Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 rumors involves a character many fans never expected to see back in action. According to a new report, Bullseye could be squaring off against none other than Elektra in the upcoming season of Marvel’s Disney+ series.

The report comes from scooper MyTimeToShineHello on X, citing set photographer Jose Perez, who claims that Bullseye and Elektra will share a confrontation during production on Season 3.

Marvel Studios hasn’t confirmed Elektra’s involvement, so for now this remains firmly in rumor territory. Still, if it turns out to be true, it raises a lot of questions considering Elektra’s fate and where exactly she fits into the story.

Wilson Bethel is set to return as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter, better known as Bullseye, and it sounds like the character is heading into even darker territory.

Bethel previously explained that Dex will operate more as a “killer for hire” this season, which could put him on a collision course with just about anyone in the Marvel street-level world.

Recent set photos have also revealed that Bullseye will be sporting a much more comic-accurate costume, giving fans an even closer adaptation of the deadly assassin they've wanted to see for years.

Season 3 won’t be lacking in threats either. Showrunner Dario Scardapane has already confirmed that new villains will join Bullseye and Wilson Fisk in the story. He also offered some insight into where things pick up after Season 2.

Scardapane explained that the season starts with “one man in jail, one man in exile.” That setup refers to Matt Murdock and Fisk, whose lives have been turned upside down following the events of the previous season.

Scardapane also noted that the creative team had no interest in continually escalating Fisk’s power after his mayoral storyline wrapped up.

The new season reportedly takes place about a year after Season 2. Matt Murdock finds himself behind bars after publicly revealing that he is Daredevil, a revelation that apparently isn’t going away anytime soon. Scardapane has already stated there will be no “buybacks” regarding the public learning Matt’s secret identity.

Fans of the comics may recognize some familiar inspiration as well. One of the stories influencing the season is The Devil in Cell-Block D from Daredevil Vol. 2, a storyline that explored Matt’s life in prison after his identity became public knowledge.

Production on Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 was underway by March 17, 2026, operating under the working title Out the Kitchen. Filming has been taking place at Silvercup Studios in Queens along with several locations throughout New York City.

Mike Colter, Finn Jones, and Krysten Ritter have all been spotted on set in Brooklyn filming the new season.

As for the rumored Bullseye and Elektra fight, it’s the kind of matchup that fans would love to see. Bullseye is one of the deadliest assassins in Marvel, while Elektra has repeatedly proven she can go toe-to-toe with the best fighters in the universe. It could deliver a great action sequence.

For now, fans will have to wait for official confirmation. But with Matt Murdock in prison, Fisk out of power, Bullseye working as a hired killer, and new villains entering the picture, Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing chapters of the series yet.

The eight-episode season is currently scheduled to premiere on Disney+ in March 2027 as part of Marvel Studios' Phase Six slate.
