Denzel Washington's THE EQUALIZER 3 Gets a Franchise Recap Promo Video
One upcoming action movie that I’m pretty excited about is Denzel Washington’s The Equalizer 3. The first two films in the franchise were great, and this next installment looks like it’s going to be an awesome addition to the franchise.
As we wait for the sequel to be released, Sony Pictures has released a new promo video that recaps the intense action-packed journey of Robert McCall as he embarks on a mission to deliver justice.
This movie will serve as the final film in the franchise and Antoine Fuqua is back to direct the film from a script written by Richard Wenk, and this is the synopsis:
Since giving up his life as a government assassin, Robert McCall (Denzel Washington) has struggled to reconcile the horrific things he’s done in the past and finds a strange solace in serving justice on behalf of the oppressed. Finding himself surprisingly at home in Southern Italy, he discovers his new friends are under the control of local crime bosses. As events turn deadly, McCall knows what he has to do: become his friends’ protector by taking on the mafia.
The director previously talked about what we can expect from the movie, saying: “Hopefully, reveal a little more about Robert. Yeah, I think that's the key, to learn more about Robert McCall.”
The Equalizer 3 is set to hit theaters on September 1, 2023.
