Ewan McGreggor Reportedly Confirmed for Obi-Wan in AHSOKA Season 2

A couple of weeks ago a rumor started making the rounds that Ewan McGregor might reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in Ahsoka Season 2. Now Daniel Richtman claims to have confirmed that the actor will in fact appear as the legendary Jedi Master in the series.

Now, let’s be real… if Lucasfilm hasn’t confirmed it, this is still just a rumor. But, Richtman has a reputation for delivering legit scoops, so we’ll see what happens.

If he is in the series, it will be interesting to see how exactly Dave Filoni incorporates him into the story as the story is set long after Kenobi is killed in A New Hope.

I just assume they will got the Force Ghost route or appear in the World Between Worlds as Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen) did in the first season. There’s also the possibility of flashback scenes.

I would love to see McGreggor return as Obi-Wan, I’d just like to see him involved with a better story than what we got with Lucasfilm’s Obi-Wan Kenobi series.

It ewas also recently reported that Natalie Portman could be reprising her role as Padmé Amidala in the new chapter of Ahsoka.

There will be some very interesting reunions in Ahsoka Season 2 if these rumors turn out to be true.
