Exciting Final Trailer for Netflix's ONE PIECE Is Filled with Adventurous Spirit!
Netflix has dropped the final trailer for its live-action series adaptation One Piece, and it teases quite the epic and fun adventure! This is the best trailer for the series yet, and while I was already excited about this show, this new trailer knocked that excitement up a couple of notches.
This show seriously looks like it’s going to be a blast! There are some naysayers out there, but a lot of fans have been loving it! From the reactions that have come out for this series, it seems like the creative team may have actually pulled off making an awesome adaptation! It certainly looks like it captures the spirit of the source material. This latest trailer put a much-needed smile on my face
One Piece follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy (Iñaki Godoy) and his pirate crew as they explore a fantastical world of endless oceans and exotic islands in search of the world’s ultimate treasure known as “One Piece” to become the next Pirate King. The other main characters include Zoro (Mackenyu), Nami (Emily Rudd), Usopp (Jacob Romero Gibson), and Sanji (Taz Skylar).
Steven Maeda is a co-writer, showrunner, and executive producer on the series along with Matt Owens, who is also co-writing and executive producing. The series also stars Morgan Davies (The Evil Dead) as Koby, Ilia Isorelýs Paulino (The Sex Lives of College Girls) as Alvida, Aidan Scott (Action Point) as Helmeppo, Jeff Ward (Hacks) as Buggy, McKinley Belcher III (Ozark) as Arlong, and Vincent Regan (Troy) as Garp.
The 10-episode series comes from Tomorrow Studios and One Piece publisher Shueisha. Open Piece will be released on August 31st!
