Final Trailer for BAD BOYS: RIDE OR DIE Teases Big Explosive Action

Sony Pictures has released the final trailer for Bad Boys: Ride or Die and highlights some of the big and explosive action sequences that the movie will deliver.

Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back as Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett, and the two detectives find themselves wrapped up in a cartel conspiracy and they find themselves on the run.

Lowrey and Burnett are tasked with clearing Captain Howard's name, but as they start that mission, it seems like they're being set up as well. So, they go on the run while trying to survive and clear their names.

It’s a messy and intense situation but they still manage to throw in jokes about how black jelly beans taste gross.

The movie also stars Vanessa Hudgens, Alexander Ludwig, Paola Núñez, Tasha Smith, John Salley, Eric Dane, DJ Khaled, Ioan Gruffudd, Rhea Seehorn, Joyner Lucas, and Quinn Hemphill.

The movie is directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah, and they previously talked about the movie, saying: “With Jerry Bruckheimer [high-profile producer] movies, we always tend to think about all the action and the crazy explosions. But actually, it’s the characters of his movies that are the reason why the audience loves to watch them.

“So, we went further and deeper on those character moments. But everything that we learned, in terms of camera movements and just directing on set, we tried to push ourselves and go even further.

“Sometimes we had some funky moments and funky shots that we didn’t try on the last one because it was maybe a little more classical. This time, we go more funky and more loco on this one.”

Smith also talked about the movie saying: “In Ride Or Die we’re taking some really aggressive creative shots. We wanted to push the envelope of how much life experience and age specificity you can put into these movies.

“With this movie we’re being really aggressive in stretching what you can do in a summer action movie. There’s a spiritual aspect to it that I think people will be like, ‘Okay, that’s an interesting evolution for Marcus’ character.’”

The movie is being directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah and is set to be released on June 14, 2024.
