First Look and Details For Post Malone’s EVIL DEAD Meets MAD MAX Graphic Novel BIG RIG, Which Will Be a Movie

Post Malone partnered up with Michael Bay and Brad Fuller’s Platinum Dunes and Vault Comics to create a graphic novel based on an original story by Malone, nd the plan is to adapt it into a feature film.

The project is titled Big Rig and it’s explained that the story will blend elements of road thrillers like Mad Max: Fury Road and demonic horror like Evil Dead.

The story is set in Europe during the Dark Ages, and it “sees hordes from Hell invading Europe when the Six Petals, a secret sect of the Knights Templar, pray to God to drive back the demonic scourge.

“What crashes to earth is The Rig, a fully loaded tractor trailer. In the aftermath of its arrival, the only man left standing is an enigmatic former priest excommunicated from the Six Petals.

“He will become known simply as Trucker and will lead the fight against Hell behind the wheel of a demon-slaying machine.”

The tagline reads: “They prayed for a miracle. They got 25 tons and 18 wheels of holy weapon.”

Malone said in a statement: “This is going to kick ass. It’s amazing working with Vault and Michael Bay. Turning this idea into what we have has been unbelievable. The team has been crushing it, and I can’t believe we get to be a part of Free Comic Book Day.”

Bay said: “I love the art, attitude and characters. Also I am excited to work with Post Malone and have our creative worlds collide.”

He added: “I love working with talented people, and Post Malone is incredibly gifted. I am excited to work with him on such an intriguing idea, and when you add Vault to the mix, it raises the bar to another level. This new IP is just what the graphic world needs right now.”

Vault CEO Damian Wassel said: “This is the kind of project you dream about. We get to work with an exceptional artist at the top of his game to build a completely original story from the ground up.”

He added: “We have an iconic director helping to guide the creative development. We’re going to bring the world a mind-blowing graphic novel, and that’s just the beginning.”

This sounds like it could be a wild and fun project!
