First Look at Tim Blake Nelson as The Leader in CAPTAIN AMERICA: BRAVE NEW WORLD
A new promo video has been released for Captain America: Brave New World, and it actually features a shot of Tim Blake Nelson’s villainous character Leader.
The video keeps the character in the shadows, but because he does step slightly closer to the light. So a fan adjusted the brightness and contrast levels to reveal our first official glimpse of the character.
As you’ll see, it looks like his brain is partially exposed, and he’s not sporting his signature elongated cranium. So, this is a very different take on the character. I hope that he has a bigger role than I’m expecting.
Sam Wilson (Anthony Mackie) officially took on the mantle of Captain America in the finale of Marvel’s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. In the film, “After meeting with newly elected U.S. President Thaddeus Ross, played by Harrison Ford in his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut, Sam finds himself in the middle of an international incident.
“He must discover the reason behind a nefarious global plot before the true mastermind has the entire world seeing red.”
The film is directed by Julius Onah and produced by Kevin Feige and Nate Moore.
Captain America: Brave New World opens in U.S. theaters on February 14, 2025.
