First Look at U.S. Agent with Captain America's Shield in Set Photos From THE FALCON AND THE WINTER SOLDIER
We were already well aware that the character Captain John Walker, a.k.a. U.S. Agent, would be appearing in Marvel’s The Falcon and The Winter Soldier. We previously saw some concept art of the character, who is being played by Wyatt Russell. We now have a first live-action look at the character all decked out in costume, and he’s holding Captain America’s shield. You can also see on his helmet the logo is a star mixed with the letter A.
The last time we saw the shield, Steve Rogers handed it over to Sam Wilson, a.k.a. Falcon. I guess this means the government took it away from him and gave it someone they felt was more fit to carry it. This falls in line with what we previously heard about the government not wanting Sam Wilson to be the next Captain America.
There’s a second image as well that features Russell, who was also spotted in a military uniform with a sling on his arm. These are two separate scenes. Russell’s time as the new Captain America might be short-lived. We’ll just have to wait to see if we end up seeing Anthony Mackie suit up as Captain America’s replacement.

According to a previous report, the Falcon and Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) might end up having to deal with some sort of massive viral threat. The report speculates that this viral threat could come from Virus X, the Madbomb, or something else that will put the population in grave danger. I imagine this play was hatched by Daniel Bruhl's Baron Zemo. It was also recently rumored that Toby Jones’s character, Arnim Zola, could make an appearance in the Disney+ series as well. It’ll be cool to see how this series turns out. We really don’t know much about it, but I’m sure that it’ll be a fun show!
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will be directed by Kari Skogland, and John Wick creator Derek Kolstad and Empire’s Malcolm Spellman are writing the scripts for the series.
The Falcon and The Winter Soldier will begin airing on Disney+ in the fall of 2020.
