First Poster For KARATE KID: LEGENDS Features Ralph Macchio, Jackie Chan, and Ben Wang
The first poster has been released for Karate Kid: Legends, the next Karate Kid movie in development, and it features Ralph Macchio, Jackie Chan, and American Born Chinese actor Ben Wang.
Wang is fluent in Mandarin, and is skilled in many forms of martial arts, including Karate, Wing Chun/Kung Fu, Gumdo, Kempo and Taekwando.
There are no details to share on the story, but Macchio will reprise his role as Daniel LaRusso, and Chan will take on the role of Mr. Han, the kung fu master from the Jaden Smith movie.
The movie will “mark a continuation of the mythology of the original franchise.” While this is cool and all, I’m actually more interested in continuing the story of Johnny Lawrence!
The movie will be directed by Jonathan Entwistle (The End of the F***ing World) from a script written by Rob Lieber, with Karen Rosenfelt producing.
The movie is set for release by Sony Pictures on December 13, 2024.
