George Clooney and Adam Sandler Set to Star in Director Noah Baumbach's Netflix Film
George Clooney and Adam Sandler are set to star in director Noah Baumbach’s new untitled Netflix film. Baumbach also co-wrote the script with Emily Mortimer, and it will be produced by Amy Pascal and David Heyman.
The film is said to be a comedic and emotional coming of age film about adults. There aren’t any other details to share, but I like the films that Baumbach makes, and I love that Clooney and Sandler are going to star in a film together! This is the first time the actors will be working together and it’ll be interesting and fun to see what kind of on-screen chemistry they have together.
Clooney most recently directed the rowing sports drama Boys in the Boat, which looks great. He’s also set to star opposite his Ocean’s Eleven co-star Brad Pitt in the Apple TV+ movie Wolfs.
Sandler has been developing multiple Netflix projects including Murder Mystery 2, You Are So Not Invited To My Bat Mitzvah, and most recently starred in the Netflix animated flick Leo.
