Here's The Ending of THE FLASH That Was Shown During Early Screenings

When I first saw DC’s The Flash, the very end of the film seemed a little odd. I later learned that the ending for early screenings of the film had been edited to avoid any spoilers from leaking.

The scene takes place after Barry’s father is exonerated, and Bruce Wayne calls Barry outside the courthouse. In this early cut of the film, instead of seeing George Clooney step out of the vehicle that pulls up, it’s an unseen figure. It then cuts to Barry saying: “Who the f*ck is this?" and then the movie cuts to black.

They obviously didn’t want it leaking that George Clooney reprised his role as Bruce Wayne. The studio originally wanted Christian Bale for this scene, but he refused to return, and I don’t blame him.

In the end, it wouldn’t have mattered what happened in this film or who showed up in it. The movie bombed at the box office and I think it’s safe to say that we won’t be seeing a sequel to the film. However, the director of the movie Andy Muschietti is set to direct Batman: The Brave and the Bold.

Check out that early cut of the ending below and let us know what you think.
