I Loved That Awesome Surprise in THE MANDALORIAN Season 3 Episode 4; and Grogu's Journey Is Exciting!
The latest episode for The Mandalorian Season 3 recently dropped, and I’m continuing to love what this series continues to deliver! The Mandalorian is pure Star Wars, and it captures the true spirit of the franchise unlike anything else right now and that’s why the fans keep coming back for more!
This latest episode, which is titled “The Foundling,” continues to expand on Grogu’s story arc and his past. In a pivotal reveal, we learn how young Grogu escaped from the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, during the horrific slaughter of the Jedi due to Order 66.
In the flashback sequence, we are introduced to a new Star Wars hero named Kelleran Beq. This Jedi warrior is the reason that Grugu is alive. He went to great lengths to make sure Grugo was safe. The best part about this character was the actor who played him!
Jedi Kelleran Beq was played by none other than Ahmed Best, who played Jar Jar Binks in the prequel trilogy! It was such an awesome surprise for me! It was so cool to see Best get to play a badass Jedi warrior!
As you know, over the years Best endured so much pointless criticism from Star Wars fans. While Jar Jar isn’t the most likable character for a lot of fans, it’s not Best’s fault! He was playing a character created by George Lucas! Not sure why fans billed the actor over it. But now, he plays the Jedi who saved Grogu and is one of the biggest heroes of the Star Wars franchise, and I love it so much! This just makes me so damn happy!
I’m also very happy with Grogu’s continuing journey as he has now started training as a foundling, and we got to see him in his first sparring match against another young foundling, and he won with some impressive acrobatic Jedi skills, which he must’ve learned from Luke Skywalker! The Armorer also forged his first Mandalorian armor!
Then you’ve got everything happening with Bo-Katan with her story arc! The direction that is headed has been extremely interesting and I’m so excited to see where this journey leads her!
What did you think about the most recent episode of The Mandalorian?! Were you happy to see Ahmed Best kicking ass as a Jedi!?
