Keanu Reeves Reveals His Ideal Ending For John Wick's Journey

While there are no plans to bring the John Wick franchise to an end anytime soon, Keanu Reeves does have an ending for John Wick that he would like to see.

The John Wick franchise could go for another 10 years and both director Chad Stahelski and actor Keanu Reeves would love to see it keep going. They have plenty of story ideas that they want to tell! But, one day the film franchise will eventually come to an end and when it does, what will that ending look like for John?

According to Reeves, this is his ideal conclusion for the ultimate badass character:

“Hmm if it was Marvel. I could do both. I can die in battle and then come back. But what would I prefer? I want John to be happy. So, let's have him walk out in the sunset because he's not, he's fighting for his life. So if there's a battle to be won, it's his life. So that he can remember the love and for Helen. So, walk off into the sunset.”

It’s the only acceptable ending for the character that would make sense! He has to walk off into the sunset! After losing so much and constantly being hunted down by assassins out to kill him, I think that he finally deserves some real peace in his life.

Yeah, he may not get it for another 10 years or so, but one day that peace will come. As of right now, I just can’t wait to see what happens in John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parebellum. While, I’m sure in the end he’ll survive, I can’t help but think an even bigger threat will be introduced into his life.
