Keanu Reeves Says JOHN WICK: CHAPTER 4 Is "The Hardest Movie I've Ever Made"

One of my most anticipated movies of 2023 is John Wick: Chapter 4, the movie looks freakin’ awesome and it’s going to be a blast to see Keanu Reeves back in action and kicking ass as John Wick! Reeves continues to hype up the sequel in a big way as he calls it the "hardest" movie he's ever made!

During a recent interview with Brazilian outlet Omelete at CCXP 2022, a.k.a. Brazil Comic-Con, Reeves said:

"John Wick 4 is the hardest movie I've ever made. In terms of action, it's the hardest film I've ever made. But that's what makes it good."

During the panel, Reeves also said: "There's a lot of people that are coming after [Wick], and there [are] a lot of different kinds of scenes that are fun for the action." The Matrix actor then teased an action sequence revolving around the Arc de Triomphe in Paris, describing it as "a fight scene in traffic." He went on to say:

"The table is this world above the world; and the people, the assassins, under the table are as boundless as the grains of sand on the beach. So there [are] a lot of people coming after John Wick. But really, for the John Wick film[s], it's really just the invention of the scene, right? How can you do these scenes?"

This next John Wick movie is going to take fan on another wild ride, and I can’t wait to see how hard it actually goes in terms of action! The last trailer that was released was filled with brutal action-packed mayhem and saw John Wick getting himself in all kinds of crazy situations and facing off with a ridiculous amount of assassins who are going to attempt to kill him. But, they will all fail.

When previously talking about the film, director Chad Stahelski previously teased what we can expect from the next John Wick story saying:

“If you took The Good, The Bad And The Ugly, crossed it with Zatoichi, and threw in a Greek myth, you’d probably get something close to this. And who else f**king says those kinds of sentences? Now you know why I like doing John Wicks.”

John Wick: Chapter 4 features a cast that also includes Donnie Freakin’ Yen, Hiroyuki Sanada, Rina Sawayama, Shamier Anderson, Lance Reddick, Clancy Brown, Ian McShane, and Bill Skarsgard as the sinister main villain.

The movie is scheduled to open in theaters on May 27th, 2023. I also included a new poster for the film below.
