Krysten Ritter Officially Set To Play Jessica Jones in DAREDEVIL: BORN AGAIN Season 2
Krysten Ritter is officially stepping back into the leather jacket of Jessica Jones for Season 2 of Daredevil: Born Again. The reveal came straight from Disney’s Upfront presentation in New York City, giving fans what they’ve been hoping for since Marvel first announced the Daredevil reboot.
Ritter’s portrayal of Jessica Jones in the Netflix series left a lasting impression. Her sharp wit, unfiltered attitude, and raw vulnerability made her one of the most compelling characters in Marvel’s street-level roster. And with Daredevil: Born Again already working hard to bridge the Netflix and Disney+ Marvel worlds, it makes perfect sense for Ritter to return.
Fans have been speculating for a while now that we might see Jessica team up with Matt Murdock again. Theories only gained momentum when Marvel officially folded the Netflix shows into canon, opening the door for familiar faces to walk back in. Ritter, for her part, never closed that door.
"Listen, I love Jessica Jones," Ritter said in a previous interview. "I think it's so exciting that there seems to be such an appetite to see her again. I get asked about it almost every day. We remain cautiously optimistic."
She added: "If they asked me, I would be there ready. I may or may not have the jacket that I stole from set."
With Ritter’s comeback confirmed, it will be interesting to see how will Jessica fits into this new chapter of Daredevil.
