Live-Action Miles Morales Movie Is in Development Along With an Animated Spider-Woman Movie
As Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse hits theaters this weekend, the producers behind the film are developing a couple of other Spider-Man film projects! On top of Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse, they are developing a live-action Miles Morales film along with an animated Spider-Woman movie.
Producer Amy Pascal went on to tease, “You’ll see all of it, It’s all happening.” Producer Avi Arad added that fans will get to see a “Spider-Woman” movie “sooner than you expect,” adding, “I cannot tell you yet, but it’s coming.”
Gwen Stacy actress Hailee Steinfeld is definitely up for a standalone Spider-Woman movie saying: “This is like my dream job, sign me up over and over again. I got to be comfortable! And it’s a dream to be in a space that feels so comfortable but also creative and free and just exciting to be a part of.”
When it comes to the fourth Spider-Man movie with Marvel Studios, Tom Holland and Zendaya will be back and it;’s still in the works. The project has been stalled due to the writer’s strike, though. Pascal said: “Are we going to make another movie? Of course, we are. We’re in the process, but with the writer’s strike, nobody is working during the strike. We’re all being supporters and whenever they get themselves together, we’ll get started.”
There obviously aren’t many other details to share regarding these projects, but are you excited about seeing a live-action Miles Morales movie? Who would you like to see play the character?
