Live-Action Miles Morales Rumored to Debut in SPIDER-MAN 4
Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures are currently in the process of developing Spider-Man 4 with Tom Holland set to reprise his role. We have no idea what the story will entail, but a new report has surfaced from Hollywood insider Daniel Richtman, who says the live-action version of Miles Morales will make his debut in the movie.
There are no other additional details to share, but it makes sense to eventually introduce Miles into the universe, and it’s better to introduce him into the MCU than into whatever Sony is trying to do with their Spider-Man Cinematic Universe because they have no idea what in the hell they’re doing! Marvel may be in a slump, but they are at least working on fixing it.
Holland previously said that he'd love to help usher in a live-action Miles Morales, saying: "I would be honored to bring Miles Morales into the live-action world. How we do that, I don't know, but given the opportunity, I would jump at it.”
The groundwork has already been laid for this to happen in the MCU, as we saw Holland’s Peter Parker meet Miles Morales’ uncle, Aaron Davis ( Donald Glover), in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Marvel is looking at Drew Goddard. Goddard is best known for helming The Cabin in the Woods and Bad Times at the El Royale. Goddard was also an executive producer and writer on Netflix's Daredevil series.
There are a lot of rumors being reported about Spider-Man 4 including how Spider-Man might lead The Avengers, how it might include Daredevil, and how it will be MCU’s street-level Captain America: Civil War..
It’ll be interesting to see what kind of story Spider-Man 4 will tell.
