MADAME WEB Gets a New Japanese Trailer and Poster Showing Off Superhero Costumes
A new Japanese trailer has been released for Sony Pictures’ upcoming Marvel movie Madame Web along with a poster that shows off the main superheroes in their spider costumes. The poster features Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Celeste O’Connor, and Isabela Merced.
Sony Pictures has a lot riding on this movie, and it’s going to be interesting to see how it does at the box office. I’m pretty sure that it’s going to bomb, but you never know! A lot of fans don’t seem to be thrilled or excited about it because the trailers do not make the movie look good.
The synopsis for the film reads: “In a switch from the typical genre, Madame Web tells the standalone origin story of one of Marvel publishing’s most enigmatic heroines. The suspense-driven thriller stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who may have clairvoyant abilities. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women destined for powerful futures… if they can all survive a deadly present.”
The film was directed by S.J. Clarkson (Jessica Jones), and it will be released in theaters on February 14th.
