The Wilkerson family is returning to our screens with a new set of episodes of Malcom in the Middle. Aside from the confirmed returning cast, which includes Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston and Jane Kaczmarek, reprising their roles as Malcolm and his parents Hal and Lois, respectively, we now have word on a new cast member.

Kiana Madeira, who we know from Fear Street, The Flash, and the After film series at Netflix, is set to star in Malcom in the Middle as Tristan, described as “Malcolm’s charming and opinionated girlfriend who – by any rational standard – is way out of his league.”

Per the official logline, “Malcolm (Muniz) and his daughter are drawn into the family’s chaos when Hal (Cranston) and Lois (Kaczmarek) demand his presence for their 40th wedding anniversary party.”

This sounds like it’s going to be a lot of fun. Stay tuned for future casting and release news about the reboot.
