Marvel Seems to Be Casting a Young 10-Year-Old Version of Loki in The Disney+ LOKI Series

There’s still so much that we don’t know about Marvel’s upcoming Loki series. What we do know is that the series is set after the events of Avengers: Endgame and follows the adventures of Loki after having escaped with the Tesseract. According to reports, he will be traveling through different periods of time while affecting several important moments of history. Executive producer Stephen Broussard previously shared:

"There's a huge time travel component. There will be a man on the run quality to it and we get the chance to explore more human sides of Loki."

A new casting call that has recently gone out may shed some new light on what we might see in the series as they are looking to cast two roles. One for a 10-year-old British male and the other for a 10-year-old British female. The descriptions for the roles are as follows:

Male, 10 years old, British, Open Ethnicity, smart and brave with a sharp wit and life experience beyond his years…RECURRING

Female, 10 years old, British, Caucasian, in tears over a frightening situation, she relies on her intelligence and resilience to find a way out.

It’s rumored that the 10-year-old boy they are looking to cast could be playing a child version of Loki. There have been reports saying that a younger Loki might be present in flashbacks, so a young boy character being cast in a recurring role could fit what they are looking at doing. Of course, there’s always a chance that this will be a completely different character.

It’s also previously reported that actress Sophia Di Martino was cast as a female version of Loki. But there’s also a chance that she could also be playing Amora, the Enchantress. This new report mentions that she might also be playing a character named Leah, who is from Kieron Gillen’s run on Journey Into Mystery and one Loki’s only true and loyal friends.

Loki is currently set to debut on Disney+ in the Spring of 2021, and it will also tie into Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.
