Marvel's IRONHEART Series Will Have a "Magic Vs. Tech" Theme
Marvel Studios’ upcoming Ironheart series will apparently tell a story that will focus on the theme of magic vs. technology, which will be an interesting thing to explore in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Insider @CanWeGetToast recently shared insight on the theme of Ironheart, saying will be “Magic vs Tech,” while the upcoming Armor Wars movie will focus more on “Stark Tech getting in the wrong hands in a world without Stark.”
This seems like it’s in line with the inclusion of the villain The Hood, played by Anthony Ramos. The special abilities of The Hood come from a magic cloak that grants him mystical powers.
Ironheart stars Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams, and we have a first look at her wearing the armor here. The movie also stars Manny Montana, Alden Ehrenreich, Shea Couleé, and Zoe Terakes.
The six-episode series was created by Chinaka Hodge, and the story follows Riri Williams, a young engineering genius and the creator of the most advanced suit of armor since Iron Man. The series will be set after the events of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. I got to see some early footage from the series ,and it looks like it could be fun.
Ryan Coogler’s production company, Proximity, is producing the series, and Chinaka Hodge serves as the head writer. The series also stars Lyric Ross (This is Us) and Alden Ehrenreich (Solo).
