Film and TV productions are going to have to open back up at some point ,and it looks like Disney and Marvel are looking at starting production on their highly anticipated Disney+ series Moon Knight on November 16th. The series was supposed to start filming this summer, but November seems like a safe time to start work. I imagine a lot of other productions will open back up in the fall as well.

The report comes Production Weekly, which also states that Moon Knight is being shot under the working title "Good Faith," and the production is set to take place over the course of 26 weeks. Here’s the synopsis for the series:

Moon Knight — who showed up as a good guy in 1975’s Werewolf by Night No. 32 — is the vigilante alter ego of mercenary Marc Spector, but it’s actually more complicated than that: Spector also has a couple of other alter egos (millionaire Steven Grant and cab driver Jake Lockley) that may or may not be separate, alternate personalities, and the same may be true of Khonshu, the Egyptian deity who is either guiding Spector through his costumed adventures or a figment of Spector’s imagination. In recent years, another persona has emerged: 'Mr. Knight,' a police consultant who dresses in all white and wears a mask while solving unusual crimes.

The head of the writing team for Moon Knight, Jeremy Slater (The Umbrella Academy), previously talked about the series, saying:

“I was seven when I bought my first Marvel comic, and my life was changed on the spot. It’s no exaggeration to say that joining the MCU is the single greatest honor of my career. I’m thrilled and terrified and deliriously happy. And while I won’t be able tell you anything in regards to story or casting, I *can* tell that you we’ve assembled a room full of brilliant writers who truly love this character, and we’re all hard at work crafting something special for you. So stick around and stay tuned. Moon Knight is on the way, and it’s going to be one hell of a ride”

One of the writers recently brought in to help is Beau DeMayo, who is known for his work on The Originals and The Witcher.

Moon Knight is also rumored to tie into Marvel’s Blade movie, and Werewolf by Night, Stained Glass Scarlet, and Dracula could be involved with the story as well.
