MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE - DEAD RECKONING PART TWO Release Date Pushed To 2025

It looks like we’re going to have to wait even longer before we get to watch Tom Cruise back in action as Ethan Hunt in Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part Two. The movie was supposed to be released on June 28th, 2024 but it’s been pushed back almost a year to May 23, 2025.

As you might have guessed, the reason for this delay is because of the actors’ strike. Production on the film had to shut down, and there’s no indication on when the strike will end so it can start shooting again. There are a lot of films that are going to have release dates pushed back. It’s a bummer!

The movie comes from writer and director Christopher McQuarrie, and the story will continue the mission of Ethan Hunt as he tries to take down a sentient AI known as The Entity before it gains too much power and takes over the world. We all know Hunt will stop it, and I’m excited to see how exactly he does that.

I thought the first movie was awesome, and I imagine that this second part is going to be even better! The big question on everyone’s mind is… what are the insane stunts that Cruise is going to attempt to pull off in the sequel? What stunt is he going to risk his life for?
