New JURASSIC WORLD Reboot Will Bring Back Key Dinosaur Expert as Consultant
A new Jurassic World film was recently announced, and while we don’t know what’s in store for it, we do know that it will be a complete reboot of the franchise.
The new Jurassic World movie will be “a completely fresh take on a Jurassic era with Jurassic World. Original Jurassic Park scribe David Koepp is writing the film, and it’s being produced by Steven Spielberg through Amblin Entertainment, Frank Marshall, and Patrick Crowley.
We’ve now learned that Dr. Steve Brusatte will be returning to the franchise to serve as a paleontology consultant. He shared the news himself on social media, saying, "It's happening. The reports are true. A new [Jurassic World] film is in the works! And I'll be back as a consultant, helping the moviemakers get a pulse on what we really know about dinosaurs. Honored again to follow in the footsteps of [Jack Horner]. Stay tuned..."
I’m really curious about what Universal Pictures is looking to do with the franchise with this reboot. The only reason why I have any interest in it is because Koepp has returned to write it. Maybe, just maybe this reboot will be better than what we saw in the previously made Jurassic World movies.
