New Photos Surface From THE BATMAN Featuring Riddler, Catwoman, Penguin, and Batman
Four new photos have surfaced from director Matt Reeves’ The Batman. There’s been a lot of posts over the past few days regarding this film and the characters. Many of these posts involve the inspiration behind the characters in the film such as Batman, The Penguin, The Riddler, Catwoman, and even The Batmobile. It’s been revealed that Bruce Wayne was influenced by Kurt Cobain, The Riddler was influenced by the Zodiac Killer, The Penguin was influenced by Fredo from The Godfather, and Catwoman was inspired by, well… cats.
Well, today we have four new photos to shared with you that offer us a new look at many of these characters. One of them specifically offers us out best look yet at The Riddler and his mask. These photos come from Empire Magazine, but they’ve found their way on to Twitter and you can check them out below.
Two years of stalking the streets as the Batman (Robert Pattinson), striking fear into the hearts of criminals, has led Bruce Wayne deep into the shadows of Gotham City. When a killer targets Gotham's elite with a series of sadistic machinations, a trail of cryptic clues sends the World's Greatest Detective on an investigation into the underworld, where he encounters such characters as Selina Kyle/aka Catwoman (Zoë Kravitz), Oswald Cobblepot/aka the Penguin (Colin Farrell), Carmine Falcone (John Turturro), and Edward Nashton/aka the Riddler (Paul Dano). As the evidence begins to lead closer to home and the scale of the perpetrator's plans becomes clear, Batman must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit, and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued Gotham City.
The Batman is set to hit theaters on March 4, 2022.
