New Trailer for Taylor Sheridan’s SPECIAL OPS: LIONESS Series Starring Zoe Saldaña and Morgan Freeman
Paramount+ has released a new trailer for Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming espionage thriller series Special Ops: Lioness. I’m loving the shows that Sheridan is pumping out right now, and this next one looks like it’s gonna be a damn great show!
The series stars Zoe Saldaña, Morgan Freeman, and Nicole Kidman and it’s inspired a real US Military program. The Story “follows the life of Joe (Saldaña) while she attempts to balance her personal and professional life as the tip of the CIA's spear in the war on terror. The Lioness Program, overseen by Kaitlyn Meade (Kidman) and Donald Westfield (Michael Kelly), enlists an aggressive Marine Raider named Cruz (Laysla De Oliveira) to operate undercover alongside Joe among the power brokers of State terrorism in the CIA's efforts to thwart the next 9/11.”
Cruz is described as a rough-around-the-edges but passionate young Marine who will help bring down a terrorist organization from within. The rest of the cast includes Laysla De Oliveria, Michael Kelly, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, and LaMonica Garrett.
Special Ops: Lioness is set to premiere on Paramount+ this summer on Sunday, July 23rd.
