New Trailer tor Zendaya's Love Triangle Tennis Movie CHALLENGERS
MGM has released a new trailer for director Luca Guadagnino’s romance drama Challengers, which is set in the world of tennis. The movie stars Zendaya as Tashi Duncan, a former tennis prodigy who is forced to coach after suffering an injury.
Tashi is described as “a force of nature who makes no apologies for her game on and off the court.” In the film, she is “married to a champion on a losing streak (Mike Faist – West Side Story), Tashi’s strategy for her husband’s redemption takes a surprising turn when he must face off against the washed-up Patrick (Josh O’Connor – The Crown) – his former best friend and Tashi’s former boyfriend. As their pasts and presents collide, and tensions run high, Tashi must ask herself, what will it cost to win.”
This trailer puts a focus on the love triangle that has gone on between the three main characters. It looks like a good movie, I just don’t buy this Tashi character going after a couple of the goofiest-looking guys!
Challengers is set to be released on April, 25th 2024.
