THE MARVELS TV Spot Reveals How Villain Dar-Benn Is Able to Go Toe-to-Toe with "Invincible" Captain Marvel
Marvel Studios has released a new TV spot for The Marvels and it offers up a good amount of new footage from the film. Some of that footage features Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel battling the main villain Dar-Benn, and it reveals how the villain is able to stand up against the invincible: Captain Marvel.
During the heat of battle, Dar-Benn tells Captain Marvel that her powers "only make me stronger," as it seems like she absorbs those powers and is able to use them against Captain Marvel. So, it turns out that the two are equally matched. The promo spot also teases that “Her power changes everything.” Check out a couple of TV spots and a clip below.
In The Marvels, “Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe as The Marvels.”
The film also starsTeyonah Parris, Iman Vellani, Zawe Ashton, Gary Lewis, Seo-Jun Park, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Saagar Shaikh, and Samuel L. Jackson.
Nia DaCosta directs, and Kevin Feige is the producer. The Marvels is set to be released on November 10th.
