Rob Liefeld Says DEADPOOL 3 "Will Melt Your Face" and the Cast Will Blow People Away

The creator of Deadpool, Rob Liefeld, is looking to get fans super hyped for Deadpool 3. He recently sat down for an interview with Nuke the Fridge in which he discussed the highly-anticipated film, teasing that it will “melt your face off. He said: “The stuff I know, it will melt your face, alright? That’s all I’m going to say, it’ll melt your face.”

So, I hope you're all excited about having your face melted off when you see this movie! Liefeld went on to reveal that he’s been directly involved with the film and has had discussions with Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige because he wanted his feedback as they were “considering a lot of different roads, a lot of different paths.”

Liefield went on to tease that bringing back Hugh Jackman as Wolverine was just the beginning of the major surprises that are in store. He said: “Some stuff I was aware of, I had to be quiet before it was announced. I knew Hugh and Ryan were getting back together for Deadpool 3.”

He then talked about the rest of the cast saying that it is going to blow fans away: “I’ve been very fortunate people put stuff in front of me. And trust me, all I’m saying is, I saw that cast list. I think people are just going to freakin’ get blown away, and I’m not saying shit more than what I just said.”

As you know, there have been reports that more X-Men characters will appear in the movie, and it’s been described as the No Way Home of Fox’s X-Men. From what Liefeld is saying, it seems like all of this might actually true, and we can expect even more surprises! It’s also been reported that “we’re going to get a LOT of character justice in Deadpool 3” with the X-Men characters.

The cast also includes Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and he’s are joined by Brianna Hildebrand and Shioli Kutsuna, who will reprise their roles as Negasonic Teenage Warhead and her girlfriend Yukio, a Japanese mutant ninja.

The movie also stars Emma Corrin as the villain, Morena Baccarin and Stefan Kapicic as Vanessa and Colossus, Matthew Macfadyen in an unknown role, Karan Soni as Dopinder, and Leslie Uggams as Blind Al. Then there’s the possibility we’ll see Halle Berry back as Storm, Famke Janssen as Jean Grey, and James Marsden as Cyclops.

The movie is being directed by Shawn Levy from a script written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. Deadpool 3 will be released on May 3, 2024.
