Rob Zombie Reveals First Look at Zombo in THE MUNSTERS
Rob Zombie has released a first look photo at another character from The Munsters that will be appearing in the film… Zombo! Yep, Zombo is set to appear in the movie and the image came with the following note:
After 56 years! The man… the myth… the legend returns! 💀 The one and only ZOMBO!
Zombo is Eddie Munster’s favorite television personality. He is a horror host that was introduced in Season 2 of the original series. In that episode, Herman Munster is jealous of how much Eddie loves Zombo.
The film follows a family of benign monsters who relocate from Transylvania to the American suburbs.
The movie stars Sheri Moon Zombie as Lily Munster, Jeff Daniel Phillips as Herman Munster, Daniel Roebuck as Grandpa Munster, Doctor Who and Hobbit actor Sylvester McCoy, who is playing Igor, "the faithful servant of the family,” Dee Wallace, Elvira actress Cassandra Peterson as a real estate agent, and Tomas Boykin as Lily Munster’s werewolf brother, Lester. Uncle Gilbert is also in the movie and you can see video footage of him here.
There’s still no official word on when and where this film will be released.
