Rosario Dawson Shares (Then Deletes) Heartfelt AHSOKA Season 2 Wrap Post, Promising “We’ll Meet Again”
Rosario Dawson just sent Star Wars fans into speculation mode after sharing, and then quickly deleting, a heartfelt post marking the end of filming on Ahsoka Season 2.
The post featured a selfie of Dawson holding special artwork created for the cast and crew, celebrating the completion of the next chapter in the story of Ahsoka Tano.
Along with the photo, she wrote, "It’s a wrap! It was thrilling to sign and gift nearly 1k of these epic Displate magnetic metal posters to our incredibly hardworking crew of AHSOKA Season 2… the Force is strong with this team. Enjoy a little piece of the galaxy till we meet again."
That final comment, “till we meet again”, caught the attention of fans. Could Dawson be hinting that Ahsoka Season 2 won’t be the end of the journey for the beloved Jedi? Obviously! There the big movie that Dave Filoni is developing that she will be a part of.
While Lucasfilm hasn’t announced a release date for Ahsoka Season 2, we do know that the new episodes will expand the story across two galaxies, feature the return of Admiral Ackbar, and introduce Rory McCann as the new Baylan Skoll, following the passing of Ray Stevenson.
And yes, Hayden Christensen will once again appear as Anakin Skywalker, a moment fans are already eagerly waiting for since his emotional reunion with Ahsoka in season 1.
Speaking about her character’s growth, Dawson recently reflected on how Ahsoka’s journey has evolved. "She had a more of a strong gravitas at the beginning, and she was a little bit more unflappable," Dawson explained.
"And I'm liking that she's relaxing, she's kind of getting back into her joy. I think those moments with Hayden [Christensen] and Anakin were so important for her to heal something so she could be more present. And that's what I'm really enjoying.
“I think we get to explore that a lot more in the second season… I'm really glad that we get to add more joy into her life and see her relax a little bit more and work in community a little bit more than she has."
Ahsoka has always been a story about growth, healing, and finding balance between duty and emotion, which is something that clearly continues into Season 2.
