Simu Liu Set To Star in Producer James Wan's Espionage Techno-Thriller Series For Peacock
Simu Liu (Shang-Chi) is set to star in a new series set up at Peacock that is being developed by producer James Wan. The untitled series is described as an “espionage techno-thriller” and it’s been ordered straight to series.
The official description of the show reads: “Five minutes in the future, a first-generation-American intelligence analyst Alexander Hale (Liu) realizes his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears. Caught between his shadowy agency and the unknown hackers, he must maintain a performance 24/7 to flush out who’s responsible and prove where his allegiance lies.”
The series was created by Thomas Brandon (Legacies) and he will serve as writer and executive producer. This sounds like an interesting show, and it’ll be cool to see how the series turns out.
Liu recently appeared in Barbie, and he will be seen in the upcoming film Arthur the King. He is also set to reprise his role as Shang-Chi in Marvel’s Shang-Chi and The Legend of The Ten Rings sequel.
