STAR WARS Officially Explains What Anakin Skywalker's Appearance at The End of AHSOKA Means For Ahsoka Tano
The season final of Star Wars: Ahsoka ended with Grand Admiral Thrawn escaping and preparing to rule the galaxy with an Iron Fist and Zombie Night Troopers. But, the heroes of the story seem to be feeling optimistic and they’ve lived to fight another day.
In the final moments of the episode, Ahsoka Tano sees two things… the familiar convor bird, Morai, which is a symbol of the Daughter, who is the Force goddess representing the light side of the Force. She helped save Ahsoka's life in The Clone Wars. The second thing she saw was the Force Ghost of Anakin Skywalker, who was looking at her proudly with a smile on his face.
The official Star Wars site recently offered some official insight on this, and what it means for Ahsoka. The description that was released offers a promising outlook:
"The convor Morai and the Force spirit of Anakin Skywalker both appear to give Ahsoka Tano signs that she's exactly where she is supposed to be. With this simple wisdom, reflected in images that show Baylan on his journey, Shin igniting her lightsaber as she enters the bandit's camp on Peridea, and Thrawn and the Great Mothers arriving at Dathomir, it seems like everyone is in agreement."
Ahsoka herself says she believes she's where she needs to be in the finale so that all makes sense. While Thrawn got away, the series had a bitter-sweet ending and as the story plays out, we all know that Ahsoka, Ezra, Sabine, Hera, and Huyang are all going to come out of this winners. But, it’s going to be a long, hard road for them.
