Original STAR WARS Actor Breaks Silence on AHSOKA Series Cameo and Character Poster
If you watched the recently released seventh episode of Star Wars: Ahsoka, then you know who I’m referring to in the title. If you haven’t watched it yet, there’s a cameo spoiler ahead!
Early on in the episode, we see Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) in the middle of a military tribunal, and right as she is about to be court-marshaled, C-3PO shows up with a message from Senator Leia that gets Hera out of trouble.
It was nice to see the familiar droid face of C-3PO, and it was great to see that original Star Wars actor Anthony Daniels reprised his role by voicing the character. Daniels has now taken to social media to break his silence on his big cameo in Ahsoka and he said:
"I was so pleased to shine briefly in the iconic Ahsoka – had such a perfect time with the lovely cast and crew on set, in the amazing Volume – and now, so touched by the kind comments from viewers who appreciated 3PO being there for the beloved princess. Thank you. Everyone.”

I imagine this won’t be the last time we see C-3PO in the Star Wars universe. I’m sure he’ll be back at some point, and Daniels has no plans to retire from the character. During a previous interview CinemaBlend, Daniels said:
"No, I'm never going to retire. They're going to have to throw me out the door... Life is not over, the films, maybe taking a back seat for 3PO, for a very very long time, I would think. But there's all sorts of other media, particularly now with digital formats, that I'm so happy, and grateful and proud to be part of."
Where do you think we’ll see C-3PO pop up next?
