Teaser Trailer for MAYOR OF KINGSTOWN Sees the Return of Jeremy Renner as Mike McClusky
Paramount+ has released the first teaser trailer for Taylor Sheridan’s Mayor of Kingstown Season 3, and it offers a first look at Jeremy Renner back in action as Mike McClusky as he finds himself up against the Russian mob.
Mayor of Kingstown follows the McLusky family, powerbrokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither.
In Season 3, “A series of explosions rock Kingstown and its citizens, as a new face of the Russian mob sets up shop in the city, and a drug war rages inside and outside prison walls. The pressure is on Mike McLusky (Renner) to end the war but things get complicated when a familiar face from his incarcerated past threatens to undermine the Mayor’s attempts to keep the peace among all factions.”
The third season comes 18 months after Renner’s snowplow accident. He’s had quite the incredible recovery, and it’s great to see him working again!
Season 3 will debut on Sunday, June 2nd.
