Terry Crews Says He'd Love To Be in The New GEARS OF WAR Movie with Dave Bautista

With Netflix announcing a film adaptation of Gears of Wars, the fans have been eager to see who they end up casting in the film. Dave Bautista has already recently shared his interest in starring in the film again, and the fans would love to see him take on the role of Marcus Fenix.

Now Terry Crews is responding to the news of the Gears of War movie and released a video on Gizmodo in which he says he would love the opportunity to be a part of it! He would love to star alongside Bautista in the movie. He says in the video:

“Dave Bautista’s a good good friend and we talked about Gears of War years ago and I said, man, I would love to do this with you and he said, I would love to do this with you! And now I just hear that they’re announcing this whole deal and it's not up to me, but if I had the chance, and if anyone wanted me for this movie, and for this role, I would take it in a heartbeat.

“It is an amazing project, it’s an amazing game. Every part of that I would want to be in. I can’t wait to see who they do cast in the movie. And look, whether I’m in it or not, I’m gonna be watching. So, I’m a fan right along with everybody else.”

Crews previously shared his desire to star in a Gears of Wars movie as Augustus Cole, and it would be pretty awesome to see these two actors together in the film. As of right now, though, we have no idea what Netflix is planning for the film, but they are also developing an adult-themed animated series.

Gears of Wars follows a team of badass soldiers called Delta Squad who are fighting against the Locust Horde, a subterranean alien race that decimates humanity. The main Delta Squad crew consisted of Marcus Fenix, Dominic “Dom” Santiago, Augustus Cole and Damon Baird. In their battles, they use a variety of heavy-duty firearms, rocket launchers, and lancers, which are rifles with chainsaws attached to them. I always loved that.

Whatever they do, I hope they end up bringing together a great ensemble cast and telling a solid story with badass visuals!
