Thanks to Arnold Schwarzenegger, We Know the First Trailer for TERMINATOR: DARK FATE Will Drop on Thursday!
Arnold Schwarzenegger posted a short video tease on Twitter announcing that the first trailer for director Tim Miller’s Terminator: Dark Fate will drop this Thursday! Fans are finally going to get to see what Miller and James Cameron have been up to with this next chapter of the Terminator story, and I have a feeling that audiences will be pleasantly surprised.
Since I’m from the future I can officially report that the @Terminator trailer is 48 hours away. pic.twitter.com/dzRhcRayhs

I’ve already seen some of the awesome footage from this movie, and I’m excited to see how the fans react to what this movie is going to give us. You can read all about the footage that I saw at CinemaCon here.
The official synopsis for Terminator: Dark Fate reads:
Linda Hamilton (Sarah Connor) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (T-800) return in their iconic roles in Terminator: Dark Fate, directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and produced by visionary filmmaker James Cameron and David Ellison. Following the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day.
Terminator: Dark Fate also stars Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta.
While we don’t know much about the story for the film. We do know that Davis is an enhanced cyborg from the future who travels back in time to hunt down another Terminator, played by Luna. He has the ability to split into two separate Terminator killing machines — a dark liquid metal version that looks human and an exoskeleton.
We will also see Davis’ character team up with Schwarzenegger’s T-800 and Sarah Connor to stop this new Terminator. We don’t know what Luna’s mission is as the Terminator, but I guess we’ll eventually find out. When previously talking about the film, Davis teases how the new film ties into the first original two movies:
“I think it ties into the first two movies in a way that’s really important, the whole scene with the blade on the table. Beyond that, I feel so scared to talk about this movie.”
As I’ve mentioned before, I believe that she’s referring to the scene in Terminator 2 where Sarah Connor carves the words “No Fate” into the wooden table with a knife. This is inspired by the scene where John Connor tells the T-800, "The whole thing goes: The future's not set. There's no fate but what we make for ourselves."
Terminator: Dark Fate hits theaters on November 1st, 2019.
