THE CROW Star Bill Skarsgård Shares His Dissatisfaction Over Film's Ending
The Crow reboot star Bill Skarsgård seems like he’s not satisfied with how the Rupert Sanders-directed film ends.
During an interview with Esquire, the actor talked about the film’s ending and said: "I personally preferred something more definitive.”
This suggests that the ending of The Crow will be setting up a sequel. I imagine the producers are hoping this first film will be successful enough to warrant a sequel. I think that’s a long shot, though!
In the film: “Soulmates Eric Draven (Skarsgård) and Shelly Webster (FKA Twigs) are brutally murdered when the demons of her dark past catch up with them.
“Given the chance to save his true love by sacrificing himself, Eric sets out to seek merciless revenge on their killers, traversing the worlds of the living and the dead to put the wrong things right.”
The Crow hits theaters on August 23, 2024.
