THE FLASH Behind-The-Scenes Photo Features George Clooney's Return as Bruce Wayne

The Flash director Andy Muschietti recently shared a behind-the-scenes photo from the set of the film that features him directing George Clooney, who returns to reprise his role as Bruce Wayne / Batman.

Clooney showed up at the very end of the film as Barry Allen realized that he didn’t quite end up in the same universe that he came from, but I guess it was close enough. It was fun seeing Clooney back as Bruce Wayne, but I imagine that is a one-and-done deal. I don’t expect to see Clooney back as Batman again.

The Flash didn’t end up doing too well at the box office and fell below expectations, so I don’t think we’ll ever get to see his story continue in a sequel. I’m sure that James Gunn has different plans as he hired Muschietti to direct the Batman: The Brave and the Bold movie.

If they did get to make a sequel, though, I wonder if they would’ve played more with Clooney’s version of Batman. Personally, I think they included Clooney at the end because they knew the movie wasn’t going to get a sequel.
