THE MANDALORIAN Actor Says The Season 3 Finale is Going To "Hurt Too Much"

The Mandalorian fans seem very excited about the upcoming Season 3 finale, but maybe we shouldn’t get too excited. Actor Brendan Wayne, the in-suit double for Din Djarin, recently shared a message on an Instagram story that does not sound very good. He suggests we just get it out of the way and rip it off like a band-aid:

"This next episode is gonna make you wish you hadn't asked for [another episode]. It might just hurt too much."

Well, that sounds pretty dire! Unless he’s completely messing with fans, it sounds like this season is not going to give us any kind of happy ending. Bad things are going to happen.

The last time we saw Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal), he told Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff): "Your song is not yet written. I will serve you until it is." He was then captured by beskar-clad Dark Troopers and taken away to a holding room. We have no idea what to expect next!

The Mandalorian warriors have certainly found themselves in a very tight spot as they are outmatched by an army led by Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito), who is hell-bent on completing the Purge of Mandalore, and is creating an army using the best attributes of the cloners, the Jedi, and the Mandalorians.

The last episode also ended on a down note with Paz Vizsla (Tait Fletcher) sacrificing his life to save his Mandalorian brothers and sister. He valiantly held off the army until the red-suited Praetorian Guards showed up and killed him.

When previously talking about the Season 3 finale, Dave Filoni said to Collider that fans will "have a lot to think about.” He added:

"They'll have a lot to take in, and I think with any good ending there's the moment you're in it when you're cheering and you feel satisfied, but then there's a little bit after that where you think back at all the things that happened. Maybe you start to put them together in a different way and you realize it's an ending, but there are other things happening out there in the galaxy that now you know more about."

So, I guess we better be preparing ourselves mentally for what’s coming next week.
