THE MANDALORIAN Season 4 is Ramping Up For Production, Will Series Lose Pedro Pascal To FANTASTIC FOUR?
Now that the Hollywood strikes are over, film and TV productions are ramping back up for production! One of those projects is The Mandalorian Season 4, which was ready to go before the strikes hit. The series had been written and it was originally supposed to start shooting back in October.
After the strikes ended, Katee Sackhoff, who plays Bo-Katan Kryze in the series shared a behind-the-scenes photo of herself from Season 3 on social media teasing that work on the series is going to get going soon.
Din Djarin stunt performer and body double, Brendan Wayne, also posted a photo on Instagram with the caption: "Only one thing is more exciting to me than the strike being over or season 4 of Mando getting ramped up and that is Season 2 of Coach Mando and the Lady Lancers."
It’s pretty clear from these posts that people are being told that The Mandalorian Season 4 is going to start shooting soon. When production does begin, some fans are wondering if Pedro Pascal will return to the series because of his reported involvement with Marvel’s Fantastic Four.
Rumors are starting to spread that the actor won't return as Din Djarin, with some rumors saying he'll be too busy to even voice the character. In regards to that, I call bullshit.
StarWarsNews also says: “This is absolute misinformation. It was all taken from a story by Bespin Bulletin, where it was argued that the actor will likely not go down to the sound stage a lot during production, as he still has to finish shooting Gladiator 2 and will be spending the first part of 2024 in Canada shooting the second season of The Last of Us."
Bespin Bulletin said: "Don’t expect him to be on the Mando set. He’ll be the voice. Just don’t expect him in the suit...I would expect him to show his face for the Filoni movie though. Big blockbuster - he’ll be all over it, as he should."
This is exactly what I was expecting to happen as Pascal doesn’t even work on the set of The Mandalorian that much anyway. His stunt team are the guys behind the mask. Pascal didn’t even set foot on the set of The Mandalorian Season 3, and with the character not planning to remove his helmet again, there’s really no reason to have Pascal on set. His Mandalorian role is now just a voiceover job, and there’s nothing wrong with that!
I’m just excited that the series is prepping for production on Season 4 and that it will start shooting soon!
