The Teen Behind the Viral LEGO Trailer for SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE Actually Worked on the Movie

Not long ago, we shared a great stop-motion LEGO trailer for Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse! This video went viral, and it was created by 14 year old Preston Mutanga. It was actually one of the most impressive LEGO trailers that I’ve seen, and it turns out that Preston actually worked on the movie!

Fans spotted Preston’s name in the credits of the film, and he is the one who animated all of the LEGO sections of the movie!

Fans reached out to the teen on Twitter for clarification with one follower asking: "Wait, did you actually animate the Lego world in the movie?" Preston responded: "(Yes)", alongside a GIF of LEGO Batman saying, "I'm sorry, I literally have no idea what you're talking about."

Another follower said: "BRO I LOVED THE SCENE YOU ANIMATED BTW THAT WAS SO COOL," and Preston thanked the fan. So, that’s pretty awesome! That must’ve been such a cool experience for Preston to work on such an incredible film and on a scene that has become a fan-favorite moment.

The LEGO scenes in the movie were really fun, and it was cool to see writers and producers Phil Lord and Chris Miller revisit their LEGO universe in the movie and connect it to the Spider-Verse.
