The Women of The Marvel Cinematic Universe Assemble For a Photo
Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige recently revealed that they have 20 films already in the pipeline after Avengers 4 closes out the overreaching story arc for the MCU that started with Iron Man. One of those films could be an all-female Marvel movie.
Thor: Ragnarok co-star Tessa Thompson revealed that she cornered Feige with several other Marvel actresses and asked him about producing a film that centered around the female superheroes. Feige said "yes" and explained that it could very well happen.
If the film does happen, I imagine it will end up being a Lady Liberators movie, which would be awesome! Lady Liberators is an all-female team in the comics with characters that have included Valkyrie, Wasp, Black Widow and Scarlet Witch. There are more characters that include She-Hulk, Storm, Tigra, Hellcat, Spider-Woman and more.
Now we have a photo featuring many of the actresses that have brought and will bring to life the heroic female characters in the MCU. They include Brie Larson (Captain Marvel), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Pom Klementieff (Mantis), Evangeline Lilly (The Wasp), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Danai Gurira (Okoye), and Tessa Thompson (Valkyrie).
It's kinda cool seeing them all together. The question is, would you want to see them all come together in a movie?
I took this shot for my daughter and it’s the coolest picture I’ve ever taken! #BadassLadiesOfMarvel 💪@MarvelStudios @Avengers @Guardians @Antman @theblackpanther @captainmarvel @thorofficial #AvengersInfinityWar pic.twitter.com/u36x1SB0zN
