Thrilling First Trailer for Jodie Foster's TRUE DETECTIVE: NIGHT COUNTRY
HBO Max has released the first trailer for True Detective: Night Country, which is the fourth installment of the dark detective crime drama franchise. Jodie Foster stars in the series alongside Kali Reis, and they find themselves taking on quite an intense case that leads them into some dark and dangerous territory.
True Detective: Night Country comes from writer, director, and showrunner Issa López, and in the story, “When the long winter night falls in Ennis, Alaska, the eight men who operate the Tsalal Arctic Research Station vanish without a trace. To solve the case, Detectives Liz Danvers (Foster) and Evangeline Navarro (Reis) will have to confront the darkness they carry in themselves, and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice.”
The cast also includes Fiona Shaw, Finn Bennett, Isabella Star Lablanc, Aka Niviâna, Anna Lambe, Joel D. Montgrand, Christopher Eccleston and John Hawkes.
The series is set to be released later this year, but there’s no release date set yet.
