Trailer For Emma Stone and Jesse Plemons' KINDS OF KINDNESS From The Director of POOR THINGS
Searchlight Pictures has released the full trailer for the upcoming movie, Kinds of Kindness, which comes from Poor Things director Yorgos Lanthimos. It looks like the kind of wacky film you’d expect from the offbeat filmmaker.
The movie stars Emma Stone, Willem Dafoe, Margaret Qualley, Jesse Plemons, Hong Chau, Joe Alwyn, Mamoudou Athie, Hunter Schafer, and Krystal Alayne Chambers.
In the film, “From visionary director Yorgos Lanthimos, Kinds of Kindness is a triptych fable, following a man without choice who tries to take control of his own life; a policeman who is alarmed that his wife who was missing-at-sea has returned and seems a different person; and a woman determined to find a specific someone with a special ability, who is destined to become a prodigious spiritual leader.”
When previously talking about the film and working with Lanthimos again, Stone said: "Every time it's just great. As we get to know each other more, it's easier, we have more of a shorthand.
“The material that he likes or that he writes or is drawn to, I find fascinating, and so it's always challenging and funny and just exciting to get to be on one of his sets and to work with him.
“A lot of the crew is the same, often a lot of the cast is the same, so it just sort of feels like a crazy little traveling theatre company."
Kinds of Kindness is set to be released on June 14th, 2024.
