Wild Trailer for Emma Stone's Offbeat Sci-Fi Dark Comedy BUGONIA

Focus Features has released a new full trailer for Yorgos Lanthimos’ surreal, sci-fi dark comedy Bugonia, which reteams the director with Emma Stone, and it looks like the kind of wild offbeat movie you’d expect to see from Lanthimos.

The film is an English-language remake of South Korean film Save the Green Planet!, and it follows “two conspiracy obsessed young men who kidnap the high-powered CEO of a major company, convinced that she is an alien intent on destroying planet Earth.”

Bugonia also stars Jesse Plemons, Aidan Delbis, Stavros Halkias, and Alicia Silverstone. It was written by Will Tracy and produced by Ari Aster.

Bugonia is slated for a special limited engagement on October 24th, ahead of a wide expansion on October 31st.
