Trailer For Zach Galifianakis and Elizabeth Banks' THE BEANIE BUBBLE Apple TV+ Movie
Apple TV+ has released the first trailer for a new movie called The Beanie Bubble. The film tells the fictional yet crazy story of a guy named Ty, played by Zach Galifianakis, who created the world-famous Beanie Babies plush toy line and proceeded to turn them into a massive profitable trend.
The synopsis for the film reads: “Why did the world suddenly treat stuffed animals like gold? Ty Warner (Galifianakis) was a frustrated toy salesman until his collaboration with three women grew his masterstroke of an idea into the biggest toy craze in history. The Beanie Bubble is an inventive story about what and who we value, and the unsung heroes whose names didn't appear on the heart-shaped tag.”
This looks like a great film, and it also stars Elizabeth Banks, Sarah Snook, Geraldine Viswanathan, Kurt Yaeger, and Madison Johnson.
The Beanie Bubble is co-directed by Kristin Gore (writer on Futurama, War Story, Accidental Love) and Damian Kulash, Jr. (OK Go music videos). They are both making their feature directorial debut with this project. Gore also wrote the script and it’s produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard.
The Beanie Bubble will stream on Apple TV+ starting July 28th, 2023.
