Watch John Williams Score INDIANA JONES AND THE DIAL OF DESTINY in New Behind-The-Scenes Video
Lucasfilm has released a new behind-the-scenes featurette for Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny and it puts the spotlight on composer John Williams. As you know, Williams has been involved with this franchise from the very beginning and he helped give the adventure franchise its identity through the music he created for it.
The video features interviews with Steven Spielberg, Harrison Ford, James Mangold, and Kathleen Kennedy as they praise Williams for his work and the greatness that he brings to these films. Williams himself also talks about his experience being a part of the fan-favorite franchise.
There’s also footage of Williams conducting the orchestra as he scores the recent film in the franchise. This is most likely the last Indiana Jones project that Williams will ever score. This movie was a ton of fun and it’s an adventure that you have to watch play out on the big screen!
Ford returns to the role of the legendary hero archaeologist for this highly anticipated final installment of the iconic franchise-- a big, globe-trotting, rip-roaring cinematic adventure. The story is set in 1969 during the Space Race, and Indiana Jones is pulled into another grand adventure, which involves Voller, a NASA member and ex-Nazi involved with the Moon landing program, who wants to "rectify the world and make it into a better place as he sees fit." He’s looking to correct the mistakes that Hitler made when he was in power with the Dial of Destiney artifact.
The movie also stars Mads Mikkelsen (Rogue One), Boyd Holbrook (Logan), Shaunette Renée Wilson (The Resident), and Thomas Kretschmann (Avengers: Age Of Ultron).
The film will open in theaters on June 30, 2023.
