Winter Soldier and Falcon To Team Up in a New Marvel Series

There’s more big news for another series that Marvel is developing for Disney’s streaming service. We’ve already learned that Loki and Scarlet Witch are getting shows. There’s a rumor that Nick Fury might be getting his own as well.

Now Variety is reporting that Falcon (Anthony Mackie) and Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan) are teaming up for another potential limited series, which would be totally awesome! It’s been a lot of fun seeing these two characters team up and work together in the MCU films. They have a great on-screen chemistry.

The studio has even hired a writer to develop the series. That writer is Malcolm Spellman (Empire) and it’s the first of all these new Marvel series that has brought on a writer to start working on it.

These new Marvel shows are going to have big budgets that will rival “those of a major studio production.” It’s also said that each of these limited series are expected to include six to eight episodes. Marvel Studios will also produce the shows with Kevin Feige taking a hands-on role in their development.

Marvel is really looking to have some fun with Disney’s streaming service by expanding on the stories of these fantastic Marvel characters that we’ve come to enjoy over the years.

I’m excited to see what comes of these shows, but this Winter Solider and Falcon team-up series is my favorite concept so far!
