WONDER WOMAN 1984 Writer David Callaham is Now Writing a Film For Marvel Studios

It looks like screenwriter of DC’s Wonder Woman 1984David Callaham, is now headed to Marvel Studios to work on one of their upcoming film projects.

The news comes from That Hashtag Show but they don’t reveal what he’s working on. They do narrow things down a bit, though, saying that it is one of the upcoming film projects and not one of the limited series that are being developed for Disney’s streaming service.

We can also cut out the following Marvel projects because they all currently have writers: Black Widow was written by Jac Schaeffer, The Eternals is being written by Matthew and Ryan, Ryan Coogler is writing and directing the Black Panther sequel, and I imagine the same creative team for Doctor Strange will also be back to write the sequel.

So what film’s could he be working on? Well, he could be writing the Dark Avengers film that was revealed last month. Kevin Fiege also previously teased a Young Avengers movie and Mrs. Marvel. It could also be to help with the script for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3. It could also be something completely different, something that hasn’t been announced or teased.

This wouldn’t be the first time that he’s worked with Marvel, though. he did some uncredited work on Peyton Reed‘s Ant-Man.

What film would you like to see Callaham work on for Marvel?
